3.2.5: One conversational UBS Assistant
- A persistent Ask UBS corner button opens a single chat without replacing the current entry form. The former Business Intelligence, Accounting Assistant and Smart Document Entry menu entries now lead to one UBS Assistant.
- Explain a transaction to receive proposed debit/credit lines, an explanation and narration. Follow-up questions clarify payment method, loan interest, inventory policy and tax components instead of silently assuming them.
- Invoice reading and business overview are available in the same chat. Suggestions and invoice drafts do not post to books. Company or user changes clear the chat context.
- Android has a dedicated conversation area and pinned message box, with modal protection, minimization and Back navigation verified.
3.2.4: Offline accounting assistant and responsiveness
- Expanded bundled offline accounting-question model and app guidance for backups, sync, invoice drafts, ledgers, items and bank reconciliation. Common questions calculate only the relevant report. Answers retain their report sources and company scope.
- Assistant guidance is available without an open company; invoice extraction remains local and creates a draft for review.
- Large Windows selection lists show searchable batches with a Show more option, avoiding thousands of row insertions on every keystroke.
- Local books open without waiting for the startup cloud check. Cloud differences are reported in the background and reviewed through Back up & synchronise.
- Android skips serialization for already accepted, unchanged screens. Pending edits, notices and unaccepted screen updates are retained.
3.2.3: Daily backups and update enrollment
- Windows installers enroll daily complete local backups. Signed-in paid devices also make a daily cloud backup, due after 10 AM India time, with catch-up when the computer is available.
- Each installed book folder has a separate daily cloud backup identity.
- Android enrolls a persisted background job when opened, after an upgrade and after reboot. Android may defer jobs for battery management. Local backups work offline; cloud uploads wait for connectivity and an eligible account.
- Windows and Android check the matching platform and edition for updates. Android verifies the existing package certificate and asks for normal system installation approval.
- Validated recovery copies are kept before updates, restores and sync replacement. Daily retention settings do not delete recovery copies.
3.2.2: Password visibility and searchable selections
- Show/Hide controls for passwords, including backup protection, account access, staff login, company access, LAN and web forms. Passwords start hidden.
- Dynamic case-insensitive, multiword filtering in selection lists, including accounts, items, currencies and tax options. Search text in a restricted field is not saved as a selection.
3.2.0 — 1 November 2026
Versioned Windows and Android packages include these changes. Check the official download filename and checksum to identify your installed package.
- Configurable retention for automatic daily backups, with validation before older daily copies are removed.
- Protected migration, update and sync recovery copies; atomic schema upgrades and recovery of the previous application runtime after a failed installer.
- Automatic merging of new INR receipts/payments after devices share a baseline, with staff protection off. Staff-protected books require explicit conflict review. Existing edits/deletions and unsupported changes remain explicit conflicts. Repeated operations are deduplicated.
- System Health checks and a sanitized support export.
- Business intelligence and a local accounting-question model backed by the existing reports. It recognizes supported report questions and does not provide general-purpose chat or execute arbitrary SQL.
- Local Windows image OCR and PDF/text extraction into unposted invoice drafts. Review the original and actual item lines before saving a purchase bill. Android supports PDF/text draft import.
- Controlled multi-company reporting and a separate customer account portal.
- Owner dashboard fields for reported app version, last connection, last successful book upload and recorded backup date.
Before upgrading, retain a validated recovery backup and its password. Keep existing Android storage when updating the app.
